As we mindfully wind down New Leaf Foundation, our transition committee is hard at work behind the scenes making sure our resources will continue to have an impact beyond the day we formally close.
In November, we announced our first resource rehoming stream: an open application for organizations to become the stewards of a package that includes our 7-week online Mindfulness Toolkit, teaching template and materials for our Stress & Mindfulness Workshop, and a manual for our Building Blocks for Resilience Training—all geared towards supporting educators and youth service providers.
Today, we’re thrilled to let you know about our second strategy for sharing our resources far and wide.

Reaching In Reaching Out Online Training
Since 2013, we’ve been sharing our best practices for offering yoga and mindfulness in a trauma-informed (a.k.a. people-informed!), anti-oppressive and strengths-based framework.
Built on a foundation that sees the relational part of our work as the most important, we developed Reaching In, Reaching Out—a course designed for anyone wanting to share yoga and mindfulness-based practices in a more accessible way. Updated in 2024, the training is geared towards facilitators working with youth, but the material is very applicable to folks leading these practices with any audience, including in yoga/movement studios.
Now, we want to share the training with as many people as possible, with all the barriers removed.
Starting today until August 15, 2025, Reaching In Reaching Out will be available FOR FREE!
What's Included:
- 19 videos lectures, totalling 5 hours of video content
