For more than 18 years New Leaf Foundation has been making a positive impact in communities. We’ve reached close to 20,000 youth and caregivers, supporting increased wellness and access to wellness resources, and have played a significant role in making trauma-informed mindfulness and yoga-based programming a part of the fabric of many schools, youth custody facilities and youth-serving initiatives across the GTA and southern Ontario.
Post-pandemic recovery has proved very difficult for many grassroots organizations, and New Leaf has been no exception.
Despite strong efforts, we’ve been unable to meet our fundraising targets over the past year, and it’s become necessary to acknowledge that New Leaf’s operations in their current form are no longer sustainable.
We’re, therefore, making the tough decision to pause and assess the way forward. Our top priority remains ensuring that the curriculum, tools, and resources we’ve developed can continue making a meaningful and lasting impact.
At this time, we're asking for help from our community to raise a minimum of $40,000 over the upcoming month so that we can thoughtfully determine these new pathways.
We’re dedicated to creating ways for our work to live on and are so grateful for your support in helping us do that.
We’d love to hear from you if you have thoughts or additional support to share.
Please stay tuned for developments.
