After engaging in consultation with staff, founders, Members and outside advisors, we have come to a collective conclusion that the depletion currently being experienced within multiple layers of the organization is not within our capacity to overcome. Post-pandemic recovery has proved very difficult for many grassroots organizations, and New Leaf Foundation has been no exception. Despite strong efforts, we’ve been unable to meet our fundraising targets over the past year, and it’s become necessary to acknowledge that New Leaf’s operations in their current form are no longer sustainable.
